The Poppy Project was originally a Shire of Dardanup initiative, which was passed on to River Valley Primary School in 2024.
The school is honoured to continue this important community project by creating the annual Poppy Project installation at the Burekup entrance in time for Remembrance Day. The installation serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who served, and the school’s involvement allows students to actively engage in remembrance and reflection, ensuring that the significance of the day is passed on to future generations.
